Police vague on "firearms incident" in Bonavista area

Police in Bonavista are investigating a "firearms related incident," in the town of Southern Bay last night.
A police release confirms something happened in the town around midnight, and that there is no danger to the public, but those are all the details they're prepared to release.
The RCMP aren't commenting further, saying when the initial investigation is complete, officers will provide more details.
