A 21-year-old woman is facing charges after allegedly robbing a cab driver early this morning with a needle.
The RNC says the incident occurred in the east end of St. John's when a cab driver was confronted by a female with a needle who demanded all his money.
The cab driver was not injured and the woman fled the scene with some cash.
As a result of an investigation by patrol officers, the 21-year-old woman was located and charged with armed robbery, possession of a weapon and breaches of court orders.
She was held in custody for court this morning.
The RNC says there may be more arrests in the case.
