Man facing drug, gun charges back in court next week

A St. John's man will be back in court next week to face a number of charges stemming from a RCMP raid on Monday.
After a lengthy investigation, officers used a search warrant to raid a home in the Kenmount Terrace area of St. John's and seized a loaded 380 pistol within a metre of the suspect when he was arrested.
The RCMP also seized a quantity of cocaine and $35,000 in cash.
Jeffery Heale, 30, was in provincial court today. He's charged with with a number of drug and weapons-realted offences, as well as a breach of a conditional sentence.
He will be back in provincial court on July 13.
