RNC investigating armed robbery at Ultramar gas station

The RNC is investigating an armed robbery early this morning at the Ultramar gas station on Kenmount Road in St. John's.
Police officers responded to the location about 5 a.m.
The male culprit was about 5' 7" tall with a medium build was and wearing a mask, a blue jacket with a hood, and was carrying a large knife. The robber was successful in making off with an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes.
There are no suspects at this time.
The RNC is continuing its investigation into the matter.
