A 25-year-old man was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public - a pipe wrench - and damage to a police vehicle Sunday night in the west end of St. John's.
The man was also charged with causing a disturbance and resisting arrest.
He was held in custody overnight for court this morning.
Meanwhile, a 34-year-old man was charged with break and entry into a dwelling in the downtown area of the city.
He was detained for court for this morning.
