Man charged with impaired driving

Being investigated for at least two hit and runs

A man was charged Wednesday night in St. John's with impaired driving and refusing to provide a blood sample.
The accused is also being investigated for at least two hit and runs in the downtown area and further charges are likely.
Two people in one of the hit vehicles - a taxi cab - were treated in hospital for minor injuries and released.
