A residential fire in the Buckmasters Circle area of St. John's early this morning resulted in a family of four taken to hospital as a result of receiving injuries after they jumped from a third-storey window of the dwelling.
Adjoining residences also suffered smoke damage.
Fire investigators and identification officers were called in to assist with the ongoing investigation.
Injuries to the family are not life threatening but are serious.
Quick action by a neighbour assisted in the family getting out of the dwelling.
