Wow David does not like Brad. Hubris? Really? Has anyone read the other media stories? Hard to be egotistical when everyone has you labelled as an underdog, and can't even take the time to get the names of your team members correct. Brad and his team did their best. It is not easy living on the rock and travelling long days at great expense to represent Newfoundland and Labrador. Ryan Fry left Winnipeg about 5 years ago to make St. John's his home. This year 2 young men made huge sacrifices to move to St. John's and play with Brad and Ryan. Did the people of St. John's support them? I read nothing but criticism of Brad and how he manages his team, yet I do not see any other team close on his tail threatening his success. Yes Jamie has left the team to lead a curling free life, as has Mark Nichols. That dream team is done. Time to move forward. Common NL and Labrador. Stand up and support team Gushue. Or get out there and show how much better you can do the job. I say : Brad, Ryan, Adam and Geoff THANK YOU for doing your best! Stick together. Learn from this year. Sure "failure" at the Brier hurts. Show these media bozos and fair weather supporters they are sooooo wrong. Come back next season even stronger.

Gushue can apply to the Guiness Book of world records for "Athlete With the Most Things Named After Him". Or he can go on a 'nostalgia tour' of Newfoundland schools with his gold medal, and tsalk about the pitfalls of immense hubris. Danny? Where'd you go, Danny?
