- I'm Not A Member Of LGBT

I'm not a member of LGBT but I find the word Faggot to be very offensive and I am glad it has been ruled as such. The only time I have heard that word in use was to degrade a homosexual person. There are many other words used to undermine and debase homosexuals, as well, but I won't put them in print here, and they should be made redundant too. My question is why do we even need derogatory words to describe homosexual people or anyone we have a bias towards? It is a sick world indeed when we utilize derogatory words to descbribe those we are prejudiced against! A great big Thank You to the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council which chose to make that 'offensive' word redundant for the Dire Strait's song.
