That's the point Linda. He's parodying some of the absurd decision making process of many voters. eg. I wouldn’t vote for him because he... looks shifty, has a beard, isn't as good looking as the other one, speaks funny... etc. It’s pretty pathetic when policies aren’t even discussed.

Peter, your arguments are silly and make no sense. You should vote for the same party (or offspring thereof) that your parents voted for... unless you didn't get along with them, then vote for the other party (either Conservative or Liberal). Yeah, that'll show 'em. Then again, there are rules about being Protestant / Catholic and urban / rural. Then there is the Smallwood / confederation factor... Newfoundland politics is so complicated.
