So, in effect, Russell, what I'm reading is that the arse is gone outta her! Meanwhile, in Old St. John's, Hibernia mark 2 (Hebron) is getting ready to roll.

Ed Martin talks of revenues coming in to the province from Muskrat Falls. 99% of the revenues coming into the province due to Muskrat Falls is coming right out of the pockets of Newfoundlanders who can least afford it. It is a slight of hand form of taxation --- massive taxation on consumers. Now over the life of that project, those same ratepayers will have to pay many many billions for debt servicing charges on the loans. So all that money out of consumers pockets is not even going into the province's coffers --- it going right out of the province to the bankers. And the cost of Muskrat Falls power? It will drive consumers back to oil --- which is going down, and leave the debt to be paid off by the province.

Are you trying to suggest that the Americans, who won't pay 9 cents a kWh for power won't pay 18 cents a kWh either?
