Where's the ticket booth for the underwater tunnel ? I am ready to purchase a fare .Why should we be restricted to this Island because of excessive ferry costs ? Yes, many Newfoundlanders and Newfoundland families can not affford to use the CN ferry system, improved though it may be .We needa means to just drive off this Island into the rest of our beautiful country .

Michael...you are so right on this issue. The road through Labrador should and needs to be upgraded for a mulitude of reasons. It would offer us an option to get to mainland points without enduring the long long ferry ride to Nova Scotia. More importantly, it would show Labradorians that they do matter and would open up this beautiful land for people to travel and enjoy. It would expedite tourism and other developments in northern Newfoundland and in Labrador itself. It would enable Labradorians much easier access to services and opportunities in their land. Most of all, it would be a concrete example of the province's real commitment to the Big Land.
