Scouts Canada has been clear and detailed in our responses to requests for information. The fact that some media choose not to report these details is something beyond our control. Scouts Canada places the greatest importance on creating the most secure environment possible for the children and youth in our movement. We have rigorous procedures and guidelines in place to support to the safety and well being of our members - the most rigorous of any youth services organization in the country - and take great pride in the quality of leadership provided by our 23,000 adult volunteers.
