There is a difference between editorializing and the factual reporting of a story. Do most people recognize the difference? In any case, whether writing an editorial or writing a news report, the writer needs to be reporting the true facts, in the case of a news story and if the writer is penning an editorial, the writer needs to write what he/she believes to be the truth of the situationas they see it.

Drawing a comparison between questioning the validity and spin of a story engineered by government and Mike Daisey's outright lies is kind of like drawing a comparison between a phone call and sexual abuse.

MY QUESTION goes to Premier Dunderdale and her MHAs. When are you and your government going to stand up to the principles of THE LAW OF THE SEA to protect what belongs to your electorate from any changes in the CETA (Comprehensive Trade Agreement) that could severely tamper with those rights to our Coastal Communities?

You've made my point. Reporters are doing a crappy job of news reporting and do minimium research or rely on "experts" who have a singular interests which are not the informing of the public..
