Keep extending those contract talks until the next election. A year has gone by with their stalling tactics so what's another one or one and a half years. Just goes to show how these tories treat those who voted them in. Those who won't forget how they treat the people who provide and receive services in this province. Actually that might be a good time for a strike, don't you think. And more are talking about doing another A-B-C for the next election. It's not fair to hire people and then lay them off, these people matter. They won't forget. Neither will all of the pensioners, post secondary students, Union members/other workers, their family and friends. Everyone knows that these high paid leaders aren't the ones losing sleep about their incomes, job security or pensions. No,they are the lucky ones, they've got it made now. They are very detacted from those working to exhaustion daily. They'd never lower themselves to step down and see the reality of a workplace and what government employees go through. Well, I'm a pensioner and my fellow pensioners and I have lots of time to devote to the next A-B-C so get ready NDP, you are looking better and gaining more support everyday.

When given such incredible material to work with, anyone could be a Stephen Spielberg and produce a decent ad. The problem is that, other than possibly help facilitate a change of government, the ads do nothing. They don't solve the problem...ie, the plundering of our once-in-eternity windfall. The money is gone. The ads are simply videos for public consumption that remind us, and inform all Canadians, of our unique political idiocy. Saddest of all, I would bet that the next government will be just as bad or worse. When we desparately needed a Peter Loughheed, we got the booby prize --- Danny Williams. For thsoe who might never figure this out : Dunderdale didn't do most of the damage.

Great read and so to the point. Newfoundlanders and Labradorians are not stupid and can see through the Tory Government led by Blunderdale as incompetent and without vision. How long before the Tories decide to unseat their leader and try and save their sinking ship?
