I'm with you Eli; good points; however, I can't imagine that either alternative could be any more secretive than our current administration and have more contempt of taxpayers and distain for accountability; democracy is being suppressed here and we need to stop the erosion.

Ah, but surely you're aware that the funamental platforms of the Republican Party are: lies; deceit, cover-up; fabrication of the truth; manipulation of reality; paranoia beyond awareness; fear of enemies, real or imagined; abolishment of demoracy; hoodwink the electorate; and so on. Sadly some of those retched principles are embraced by Prorougie Steve and The Republican North Party, known in Canada as the Con Party; and, unfortunately more frequently employed by the Dunderdale Dimwits here at home. We're headed down a slippery slope as we become more and more aligned with the Con Party and their American cousins.

Lies, deceit, cover-up, etc? Sounds like a description of just about every political party everywhere.
