It appears that the Government of Newfoundland has a lot to hide from the people and the media so it passed a law to make hiding evidence of Government secrecy, unethical behavior, incompetence, corruption, lobbying, waste and collusion legally justifiable. It appears that the Government of Newfoundland, like the Harper Government, is committed to honest, open and transparent dealings with the people as long as it does not have to show us the facts and tell us the truth! One can only wonder what shocking information will be kept under wraps by the Government of Newfoundland regarding the Muskrat Falls project!

Come the next election, the first party that commits to repealing the Dunderdale regime's version of the Official Secrets Act will get my vote. And I will encourage other voters, who are likewised apalled and outraged at this dastardly hobbling of the peoples' right to know, to do the same.

Skeptical Cynic, I find this difficult ...you say "... the first party that commits to repealing the Dunderdale regimen's version of the Official Secrets Act will get my vote". You caught the 'anon-bug' yourself Skeptical...what a whimp! The pot calling the kettle black! It's my strong practised opinion, that an 'unsigned opinion is no worthy opinion'. Why should/would anybody feel obligated to respond to an 'ANON' signature. My name is RON....always.
