So, does that mean that if I email this Premier, he will, unlike the former Premier, at least respond to my emails? In fairness she dis respond to my first one some months later but it was a mere reciting of the propaganda they have been spouting since they first announced this project. Does it mean he will listen to my concerns about Bill 29? That particular piece of legislation is, of course, merely a symptom of their continuing preoccupation with Muskrat Falls and the need to clock it in secrecy. Why, you may ask? Well, the answer is obvious…they could not even design and shepherd through a "set up" to get the PUB to sanction their beloved project. Alright, Mr. Premier, my suggestion is that you put Muskrat Fall on hold until such time as the PUB….not some "independent" review….can thoroughly examine Muskrat Falls….. and NALCOR. Are you listening Mr. Premier?

"...the only time you actually have to (shudder) actually communicate with the electorate is during the three or four weeks it takes you to land the vote of something like 30 per cent of (them)". Are the electorate a bunch of uneducated bumpkins who can't make an informed decision and therefore their votes don't count? Surely the voting public hasn't been suckered into three unelected premiers over a four-year term. If they only have to get through one election before they can pretty much do whatever they want; then how are they representing the electorate/public by not having elections?

Tom Marshall should reconsider his options and run for leader. He is probably the most respected member on either side of the house. Really would not want to see Dwight Ball or Lorraine Michael take over but neither would I like to see any of the people who have been mentioned has possible successors to Dunderdale leading the province.

Bert, I think it was the late Jimmy Durante who said: "we're surrounded by assassins". Hardly Marshall's problem when he's been one of 'em from the git-go.

Most of the electorate doesn't have a brain not talk of a memory. For proof look at the Tuesday VOCM poll.

Speaking of brainless, we have Joe who actually thinks that these stupid Telegram polls have a legitimate degree of scientific methodology attached to them.

So Tom Marshall's new mandate is to "govern well" and "listen well"? What clearer admission could he have given us that the Dunderdale government has been doing neither? Let's hope (although I'm not at all optimistic) that our new premier's actions will speak a lot louder than his words.
