Interesting letter. Had France not ceded to England three hundred years ago, there would be no worries about hydrolic fracking because it's banned in France and candidates caught breaking election rules cannot run for public office again for ten years under the laws of France. I don't know how Quebec (Upper Churchill) would have fared into it but alas it was not to be anyway. Presumably we would have become like a great big old Saint-Pierre et Miquelon ;) Que sera sera.
- Thanks W. MCLEAN for the reminder.

W MCLEAN, Thanks for the reminder! It was, and still is, a good political union, and I believe Newfoundland belonged to Labrador and the other way around forever, with or without the establishment of a political union. We do need to celebrate it more though.

The 250th anniversary of the political union of Labrador and Newfoundland was April 25th.
- A Great suggestion.

This is a Great suggestion for our Government to pursue. It most likely would be a propeller for our Tourism Industry if it were neatly incorporated.
