Don't forget, public service employees pay taxes, too. We also work hard for less than stellar salaries, public service is not welfare. If you have a problem with how taxpayer money is spent, I suggest you address the able-bodied people collecting welfare while enjoying 52 weeks of paid vacation before you come down on public service workers.

Your argument doesnt hold water. What about the plane loads of NLer's flying back and forth to Fort McMurray? And "Have" means less services?

Your sentence on studying an interest versus studying for employment hit the nail on the coffin concerning one major social disease affecting our province. If people "WANT" to work in a decent paying job/industry they have to study a career path that will give them such a lifestyle.
