The Liberal party is missing the point. Nalcor is not worried about excess revenue from Muskrat Falls power.
They will profit from the 11 per cent rate of return from the construction costs of Muskrat Falls and the eight per cent from the rate of return from the cost of the transmission line from Muskrat Falls to the Island.
If the party is serious about the large increase the ratepayers are going to pay they should promise to reinstate the PUB's right to monitor rates and not give Nalcor free rein.
