Lip service, and nothing more

In mid-August, while driving to my home in South River, I noticed the RCMP on the main road getting ready to remove a dead cat off the road that had been hit by a car.

A week or so later, while walking my dog, I noticed all they had done was to move it to a bank on the side of the road.

I contacted the town council to inform them, as the cat was decaying next to a few homes, and I was told they would remove it.

The animal is still there as I type this letter, days later.

I expected a little more for our tax dollars from both these groups.

Throw it in the woods for the foxes next time. It is Royal Canadian, not the Rabid Cat Mounted Police. I don't understand why your MHA didn't rush to the scene with rubber gloves and a sobey's bag.

Michael, why do you take the initiative yourself to dispose of it. Typical of someone who expects the government to do everything for them.

This is joke right? I would think both groups have more important things to do. Tell you what, the next time your out bring a bag with you.
