Right sentence, wrong paragraph

My letter, (“Nova Scotia has the upper hand on Muskrat Falls”), printed in the Sept. 7 issue of the Telegram, contained an error of my making.

The statement “We are due to hear how big our exposure is in early October; pencil in a big number.” was incorrectly inserted into a paragraph discussing the Labrador to island transmission line. This gave the impression that some important cost news would be forthcoming in early October on that part of the Muskrat Falls project.

The statement was meant for the previous paragraph discussing the Maritime Link.

Emera was originally supposed to give Nalcor its Maritime Link (sanction-ready) decision Gate 3 cost on Oct. 1.

These cost numbers are important to us because Nalcor must pay Emera 80 per cent of the difference between the decision Gate 2 and decision Gate 3 costs.

 My apologies to your readers.

By "no one", you are, of course, referring to mental midgets and government lapdogs such as yourself, John.
