My family visited Newfoundland for the first time during the last half of August. Under the auspices of Cape Race Cultural Adventures, we spent three nights each at Cape Race’s waterfront houses in the Outer Battery of St John’s, Heart’s Delight, and Elliston.
We were awed by the rugged beauty of the island and were touched by the welcoming hospitality of the local people we encountered.
Moreover, we learned a great deal about your history and the trials and tribulations of your people. In short, our visit was a memorable experience.
