On behalf of the people of Alberta, I want to thank Kathy Dunderdale for her service to the great province of Newfoundland and Labrador, and to Canada.

It was an honour to work with her on the Canadian Energy Strategy Working Group, where she joined me in recognizing the huge opportunity that every province has to build Canada as a true global energy superpower.

As the first female premier in her province, she stands as a role model for other women who may hope to run for public office. Public service is an honour and a privilege and I want to personally thank Premier Dunderdale for her service, for being an ally and a friend to Alberta and for willingly trading time with her family for the good of her province.

I look forward to continuing to build our provincial relationship with interim Premier Tom Marshall, and wish him every success in his new role.

Alison Redford

Premier of Alberta

Organizations: Canadian Energy Strategy Working Group

"....every province has to build Canada as a true global energy superpower." Of course how else would the premier of Alberta think of the future of Canada? Why do we have to be a true global energy superpower ..what ever the hell that means. In the process destroy and pollute the earth. Megalomania. p earle

Now if you could do the same Alison, the people of Alberta would be much better off. It seems as though yourself and Dunderdale were cut from the same stick.

Half of NL has to travel back and forth to Fort Mac because of this government. We are keeping the oil sands going.
