A bouquet for the good Samaritans

I wanted to post a feel good moment that happened to me recently.

In the midst of finding a parking spot at the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre for the Colin James show, I managed to drop my cellphone in the parking lot.

People were anxiously filing into the entrance as the five-minute warning bell rang. I, too, was caught up in the excitement and was oblivious to my loss, until I conducted the “pat down.”

I had my keys, my wallet and no cellphone.

My heart sank and I had no time to look for it.

A kind man, T.B., found my phone in the parking lot and called 12 people in my contacts in an effort to help me recover my phone.

Within 2 1/2 hours of me knowing I lost my phone, it was returned to me with no hesitation.

I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude to T.B. for his honesty and integrity. Thanks for your kindness.
