The committee reviewing the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (ATIPPA) has started an online consultation.
For the next six weeks, we are asking people’s opinion on various aspects of the Act. The current series of questions relate to access to information under ATIPPA. The next topic (July 23) will be privacy protection.
We began online consultations to encourage input from those who do not wish to take part in the more traditional written and oral presentations. Public hearings reconvene in St. John’s on July 22, and will be streamed live on our website.
We encourage people to take part in the online consultation by going to our website (www.parcnl.ca) and clicking on the green “Online Consultation” button.
The questions can be answered directly from your computer. There’s no need to print anything off and mail it.
The committee looks forward to your contribution.
