Early in 2013, John Crosbie will be completing a very successful term as the Queen’s representative in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The discussion now is on who will replace him.

Over the Christmas holidays I read Greg Malone’s book “Don’t Tell the Newfoundlanders,” and as a result, I don’t see how I could support having a representative of the queen here.
The actions of the British government in forcing the country of Newfoundland to give up a democratic government: accept a dictatorship under a commission of government and then refusing to return responsible government, as they were lawfully required to, have now been exposed.
The complicity of Britain and a fifth column of Newfoundlanders lead by a quisling, Joey Smallwood, facilitated the takeover of Newfoundland by Canada using a rigged referendum.
It is much too late to do anything about the result, but we should do something that expresses our outrage now that the truth is known about the manipulation, dishonesty and complete disrespect for the people of Newfoundland that took place at that time.
As a people, we should inform the federal government that we do not want a lieutenant governor in Newfoundland and Labrador until the British government admits to, and offers an apology for, the crime they committed against the Dominion of Newfoundland and its people.
If you have not read Greg’s book, I would recommend it, but be prepared to have your blood boil and see Britain and some well-known Newfoundlanders in a very dim light.
