'Catch and release'

Letters to the editor -

First, kudos to those of you who are calling in to report suspected drunk drivers and getting them off our streets.

But shame on our justice system that seems to be a "catch and release" program.

I'm in total disbelief that a recent reported driver was pulled over and arrested by the RNC, one charge being driving while disqualified, only to be released on a bond.

Sorry, but I strongly believe that a person who has already disregarded driving restrictions deserves stricter conditions on his/her freedom.
