Land deals, tobacco lawsuit deals, Muskrat deals, etc. More digging into this is needed. Stinks more and more everyday.

John, you say electricity prices has gone up 70 percent since 1998, that's 14 years. But I cut my heating energy with efficient heating by 70 percent in 1 year. Think I'm worried? High prices, bring it on. And watch the demand drop as more homeowners go this route. Perhaps the governmnet will bring in a "order-in- couscil" banning efficiency. That will teach us a lesson.

The heading "Stop Pandering to Mining Companies"? My son, the Dunderhead government is under the thumb of Williams just as we were under Brinco and the Government of Quebec. What have we learned? Nothing, unless you want to add stupid.

Every reason given by John Smith is a good reason why this Muskrat should be stopped. If you can't list people without vested interests who support the project, John, then don't list anybody. If the rates for power have gone up 70% since 1998 as John says, then we must be looking at at least a270% increase if the Muskrat gets the green light.A fresh PUB review is in the NL peoples best interest and a refendum sounds like a democratic thing to do-especilaly if the PC government think they have a mandate to shoot out feet out from under us with this seriously flawed deal.

The Muskrat Falls project was, and is an answer to our power requirements here on the island. It is not being developed for the mines in labrador, or the Vale plant, or the two GBS being built, but for our domestic needs here on the island. We had a big election a few short months ago, people like Anthony seem to have forgotten all about that. The people democraticlly elected a PC gov., by a landslide, a gov that ran on developing muskrat falls. They didn't elect the Liberals(now at 15% in the polls), or the NDP( also wallowing in the polls), but the PC gov. the ones who ran on Muskrat. The naysayers continually say they don't have enough information, yet this guy is calling for a referendumb? Sure, let's let the guy from arm pit cove, with a grade 4 education decide the fate of this mutibillion dollar project. Forget the PHDs we have employed at Nalcor, forget Navigant, forget MHI, forget Wade Locke, Jack harri, Dean Macdonald, Danny Willimas...forget all those people. Turn it over to those who are cluless...yep sounds about right. LOL Our rates have gone up by 70% since 1998...why don't the naysayers go off the head about that? Doesn't suit the agenda I guess.

There are many people with money or hold positions of authority that hold shares in Alderon. Those shares will increase in value the day the Muskrat Falls project gets the approval of the House of Assembly. This is about more than a government not knowing what it is doing. This is about money and money talks.
