I would suggest that columnist Brian Hodder read his Bible. Bill Whatcott wasn’t promoting his own views, but God’s.
This is what the homosexuality community can’t and will not accept. Mr. Whatcott is simply the messenger, so he had to be silenced.
In fact, what Whatcott was warning against was the infiltration into our schools, and indoctrination of our children, of the homosexual lifestyle and coerced acceptance of this sin. This is in fact happening, mostly under the guise of anti-bullying.
There is absolutely no evidence that he promoted the condemnation of the sinner. Hodder is truly sanctimonious to suggest that Holy Week would be a good time for “Whatcott and those like him” to reflect on the message of Jesus.
Perhaps he should reflect on his sin and perhaps has forgotten that Jesus also said, as he was dying on the cross, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
