Eastern Health has saved more than $22 million in the first quarter of the 2013-2014 fiscal year. Health Minister Susan Sullivan saves the money is being saved through a number of initiatives that don’t affect patient care. What do you think?

  • 74% Patient care has to be affected if Eastern Heath is saving that much. The savings just aren’t worth risking good patient care.
  • 10% I trust what the minister is saying. Good on Eastern Health for finding ways to streamline without patients taking the hit.
  • 15% I would need to look at the situation more before I decided if the savings has affected patient care.
