Four-year-old Harley Burry of Clarke’s Beach, a Janeway patient with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, is all ready to go on TV to present his telethon cheque for $3,078.90 raised by his friends and staff at the Bay Shore Day Care in Bay Roberts along with additions from family members.

In his weekend role as telethon floor director, NTV award winning photojournalist and news producer Bart Fraize had his hands full making sure the telethon ran smoothly.

The 2014 edition of the 30th-annual telethon raised $2,904,786 for the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation on June 1, 2014. The previous year’s telethon raised $2.97 million. Photos by Joe Gibbons/The Telegram
