Firefighting is an important and dangerous job. Protecting the public and property from fire takes a lot of training, dedication and courage. To honour our firefighters, The Telegram and the St. John's Regional Fire Department, has posted photo galleries of firefighters in action - everything from fighting the most deadly of fires to helping out at accident scenes to free injured people from vehicles. The photos were captured over the years by Telegram photographers.
