Grounds for a Party
A special garden party was held at Government House in St. John’s Wednesday to honour the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Hosted by Lt.-Gov. John Crosbie and his wife Jane Furneaux Crosbie, the event featured entertainment and performances by the Church Lads Brigade, the Signal Hill Tattoo, Wonderbolt Circus, the Celtic Fiddlers and a visit from members of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra.
