SPCA fall fair
The SPCA of St. John’s held its annual fall fair Saturday November 3, 2012 at St. Mary’s Church on Craigmiller Avenue. In addition to all the things you’d expect to find at any fall fair, this one also offered the chance to shop for that favourite animal on your gift list. Dog and cat clothing, jewelry, specialized food and treats, designer leashes and more were all laid out for inspection. Also on hand were staples of the fair culture such as baked goods, collectables, crafts, books, and soup and chili when your shopping worked up an appetite. As an extra added attraction, Santa put in an afternoon appearance bearing goodies and ho ho hos for the children. Text and Photos by Gary Hebbard/The Telegram
