Goo Goo Dolls? New? Popular? Did I get time warped to the late 1990's?

Pete from NL writes: Wow I know there will soon be complaints from old people but these are actually new popular acts.

The Goo Goo Dolls ... New and popular? Are you kidding me Pete? LOL .. Can't imagine how excited you'd be if someone really hot and new played in Mt. Pearl .. I cringe at the vision of Randy Simms on stage wearing shades and rapping along with Keisha LOLOLO

Even with The Fray, this is an average show at best; nothing worth standing around outside all day for.

Nathan, I hope that it is 19+. Just listen to that chicks lyrics, drugs, booze and sex. The youngsters are bad enough as it is. We would see lots of teens, gettin all hopped up to go see her along with the Goo Goo Dolls. Good beat, horrible message.

it's a great idea for an event to happen in Mount Pearl, I hope it becomes an annual event like the Salmon Festival and an event like that might bring bigger acts to NL like AC DC, KISS, The Rolling Stones, Megadeth, Slayer and Iron Maiden just to name a few. But I am really looking forward to this event and I am geting tickets to it.

Well, let's hope it's a little better organized than the Black Eyed Peas concert was a few years back.

Pumped to see the Goo Goo Dolls. Great rock act imo.

I can't wait for this concert. I love the Goo Good Dolls (what can I say, I'm a child of the '90's). Ke$ia's music is very catchy and although I don't really like it, I think that she may be a good performer. The Fray are great up and comers. Should be a good day for all.

Ke$ha is seriously out-of-this-world terrible. Potentially one of the worst artists of the last decade.

Wow I know there will soon be complaints from old people but these are actually new popular acts. I was just saying recently how Mount Pearl never had any more big concerts since the Black Eyed Peas played a few years ago.

Just because acts are new and popular doesn't mean they're good. Example A: Goo Goo Dolls (who have been going for more than 20 years, so they're hardly new), The Fray and Ke$ha. You don't have to be old to complain about these acts, just have some taste.

why is her name spelled with a dollar sign?
does it mean she's an expensive act or what?
seriously, or does she honestly not know how to spell without symbols?

To Question for Ke$ha : I heard on the radio a while back that the reason she spells her name with a $ is because when Flo Rida cover of Right Round came out (which she was featured on) she was broke and close to living out of her car.
Is it true or just hype? I don't know. But thats what she says about it anyways.
