In the Canadian senior men’s softball championships in Charlottetown, P.E.I., today host Charlottetown Fawcetts defeated 3Cheers Pub/Bud Light (or Newfoundland No. 1) by a score of 1—0 in quarter final action.

That’s a turnaround after 3Cheers defeated Charlottetown 8—1 Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, in the Molson Challenge Cup Soccer League in St. Lawrence, Holy Cross Kirby defeated Mount Pearl That Pro Look/Molson today 1—0.
