Rogers Bussey and Roebothan McKay Marshall will have first choice of stake and shell on Regatta Day

Rogers Bussey crew posted the fastest men’s time and Roebothan McKay Marshall recorded the fastest time of a women’s crew at the time trials for the 2012 Royal St. John’s Regatta Saturday on Quidi Vidi Lake.

Rogers Bussey clocked in a 9:29.21, finishing ahead of Toyota Plaza (9:50.05) in the first race of the day.

Roebothan McKay Marshall posted a time of 5:19.16 to finish ahead of All Star Rebar (5:38.36) in the first senior female race. OZ FM posted the second fastest women’s time of the day with 5:26.13 in the second senior female race.

There were 91 crews registered and 20 races on the day.

The 2012 Regatta is set for Wednesday, Aug. 1, weather permitting.

    2 Crews make the first race of the day @ almost 11:00??? Stiff competition down there this year!! Probably see a masters or juvenile crew in the championship if thats the case!
