I was surprised that Alex would be comming here.He is taking a significant cut in pay to be here.I don't expect many to be happy with taking a pay cut and going to live in a place where he has never been.Props to him hope he enjoy his time here and hope he can win us some games.He would be making only 67,500$ as opposed to going over there and making the same as if he was back in Winnipeg.

If it was a Newfoundlander who was playing in Russia during a lockout & they sent him to Kazan instead of St. John's, then you'd be all sympathetic. I know this is hard to imagine, but maybe...just maybe!...Alex likes Kazan more than he could ever like St. John's?
