If the IceCaps were “devastated” and “heartbroken” by Tuesday’s 3-2 loss to the Worcester Sharks, Wednesday night’s 4-0 blanking was the punch to the solar plexus as the Sharks woke up this morning seventh in the Eastern Conference while the IceCaps are 13th.

I assume alot of the current players will be shown the door at the end of the season.

I'm a season ticket holder and the consistently poor effort from this team is inexcusable. They are hanging a good coach out to dry. The losing is not the problem but is the result of poor effort night in, night out. Many of the players who were great last year are just going through the motions since the first puck dropped this year. They talked about a chance at the cup but are playing with a sense of entitlement, not urgency. The exception is Jaffrey who continues to play hard and Pasquale who keeps them in games they have no right to be in. I'll name names starting with Mahacek, Sawada, Meech and also Postma (before he was called up). Last year with basically the same group of guys, they played hard, there was a real attack, and even when they were behind, you had a sense that they could turn it around and often did. This year, the rare time they have a lead, you have a feeling it won't last. Too bad. Yes, unfortnuately, IceCaps suck. C'mon Danny, turn this train wreck around!

Lets face it --this team sucks. No offense -No heart or character except for Jaffry. I cant see playoffs for this bunch. And to believe Maxwell and Machacek were considered nhl material last year. This year Nl senior maybe.

Tough loss, in front of another 'sell out' crowd! That term needs to be addressed. The Caps might have the building sold out, but there's plenty of empty seats at Mile One these nights, and increasingly so. It seems corporates are having a hard time giving their freebies away. Ticket sales next year are going to be interesting. All the fans are asking for is an honest effort!
