CeeBees take 2-0 lead back to Harbour Grace

Yetman rock solid in 5-1 Game 2 win over Caribous

The Conception Bay North Eastlink CeeBee Stars are headed back to Harbour Grace with a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven Telegram Herder Memorial Trophy Championship Series.

The CeeBees defeated the Clarenville Caribous 5-1 in Game 2 Sunday after taking the series opener 4-3 Saturday.

Chris Sparkes, with two, Colin Feehan, Robert Slaney and Chris Hulit scored for the CeeBees, whose Mark Yetman was stellar in net, stopping 34 of 35 shots.

Blake Gallagher replied for the 'Bous.

Jason Churchill was peppered with 39 shots.

The series resumes with Game 3 Friday night, 8 o'clock at S.W. Moores Memorial Stadium. Game 4 goes Saturday at 7:30 p.m., with Game 5, if necessary set for Sunday at 2 p.m.
