Ray Warren’s two-out double in the bottom of the seventh inning scored Greg Barry and John Cooper with the tying and winning runs as Feildians slipped past Holy Cross 4-3 in St. John’s Molson Baseball League play Saturday at St. Pat’s Ball Park.
John Walsh (3IP, 0R, 1H, 0W, 2K) recorded the win in relief of starter Barry (4IP, 3R, 5H, 5W, 3K). Mike Janes (6.2IP, 4R, 5H, 3W, 7K) was the hard-luck loser.
Jason Crocker of Feildians and Steve Crouse of Holy Cross were the only players in the game with two hits.
