Stockley leads Shammies in rout
Outfielder Scott Stockley had three hits — two doubles and a home run — as Trapper John’s Shamrocks defeated H.J. Bartlett Electric Storm 11-0 in five innings in St. John’s Molson senior baseball Tuesday at the Smallwood diamond.
Bob Kent tossed the win on a one-hitter. Jason Kearley took the loss.
Knights 2, Gonzaga 1
Doug Gosse drove in both runs as Metro Property Management Knights picked up their second win of the season in a game at St. Pat’s Ball Park.
Tyler Holwell (7IP, 1R, 6H, 2W, 2K) pitched the win over Tyler Vincent who re placed starter Keith Spurrell.
Ryan Hodder had two hits for the Roebothan McKay Marshall Vikings.
Morgan’s perfect night was not complete
Knights pitcher Bernie Morgan lost his bid for a complete-game, no hitter Tuesday night in a St. John’s Molson intermediate baseball at St. Pat’s Ball park when a Holy Cross batter was ejected from the game with two out in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Holy Cross only had nine players, so the game was called at that point.
Knights won the game 14-0, scoring eight times in the top of the seventh inning.
Morgan, who had two hits and drove in three runs, fanned nine batters and walked four to pick up the win.,
Zach Noseworthy took the loss.
Matt Lush had two hits in three at bats for Raiders.
Kelly’s Pub teams both post wins
Kelly’s Pub Junior Canadians got two hits each from Ryan Kirk, Aaron Whelan and Daniel Dalton to defeat Don Cherry’s St. John’s 9-6 in Molson St. John’s senior softball Tuesday night at Lion’s Park.
Colin Walsh, in relief of starter Mark Power, tossed the win. Mike Noftall took the loss.

Blair Ezekiel tossed with win on a four-hitter with eight strikeouts.
Starter Sean Cadigan took the loss. Chris Hussey finished up.
Jon Kelly had two hits for the winners. Brad Ezekiel homered for the losers.
