Full slate of weekend games in St. John’s junior league

There’s seven games on tap in the Penney Kia St. John’s  Junior Hockey League this weekend, starting with a pair of games outside the overpass tonight.

The third-place Southern Shore C&W Offshore Breakers take on last-place Trinity Placentia IJ Smith Home Building Centre Flyers 7:40 at Southern Shore Arena, while the C.B.N. MoorFrost Stars, who are one point behind the Breakers, meet BK Services Celtics in Friday’s other game at Bay Arena in Bay Roberts. Game time is which starts 7:15 p.m.

Saturday’s schedule features a game between first-place the St. John’s Hickman Automotive Caps and the Breakers at Twin Rinks at 8 p.m., while the Stars visit the Avalon Roebothan McKay Marshall Capitals 8 p.m. Saturday at the Goulds Arena.

Also on Saturday, the CBR Assante Wealth Management Renegades play host to Mount Pearl Mark’s Dakota Wild at Robert French Memorial Arena at 8:10 p.m.

On Sunday, host Trinity Placentia takes on the Caps 2:30 p.m. at Whitbourne Arena, while Mount Pearl plays host to Avalon 7:15 p.m. at the Glacier.
