Seeking berth in Telus Cup nationals in Moose Jaw, Sask.

The Central IcePak, fresh off their first provincial major midget hockey championship last month, will represent the province in the 2014 Atlantic major midget hockey championship which starts today at the Pictou County Wellness Centre in Pictou, N.S.

Central IcePak

The IcePak won the provincial crown by beating the Western Kings  4-1 in the best-of-seven provincial final.

Central joins the host Weeks Major Midgets, Halifax McDonald’s, Kensington Wild of P.E.I. and New Brunswick’s Saint John Vitos.

The winner will represent the region in the national Telus Cup major midget championship slated for Moose Jaw, Sask. later this month.
