Noftall comes up big for Game On Gear in intermediate softball action

Jordan Noftall pitched the win and hit a grand slam home run as Game on Gear doubled Goulds 14-7 in Molson St. John’s intermediate softball Monday night at Lion’s Park.
Noftall tossed an eight-hitter with eight strikeouts for the victory over Goulds’ starter Simon Power. Daniel Dalton and Joel Whelan also pitched for the losers.

Justin Hand and Shane Dobbin, along with Noftall, had two hits each for the winners.

Goulds’ Steven Joy was the game’s top batter with three hits in four at bats.

Power Conditioning Inc. 11, MJR Masonry 4

Starter Matt Power picked up the win and delivered three hits while getting relief help from Trevor Hefferan.

Tyrone Fewer, Robert Inder and Isaac Power each had two hits for the winners. Power also homered.

Starter Adam Janes went two innings to take the loss. Murray Preston pitched the final four.

Janes, Preston and Chris Doran each had two hits for the losers.
