    hahahaa ... I thought the promise was better weather forcasting after the weather office was returned to Gander ... hahaaa ... in my opinion it has gotten steadily worst for accuracy,its rediculious.Its like the little boy who cried wolf ... soon people aren't going to pay attention to forcasts and someone is going to be hurt or killed because of it.

    I agree with Rod. Our weather forcasting is a joke. In my opinion, having it in Gander DID NOT make a difference. I hear forcasts that give ALL possibilities of weather in ONE day! I can forcast that! Now on VOCM I hear forcasts for East, North East, West, South West etc. instead of St. John's and other specific areas. It's getting to the point that forcast will be, Newfoundland and Labrador... Snow, Fog, Rain, Freezing Rain, and possibly Sun... Temperatures -10 to 25 degrees...
