Adam, Breen named best of '09

Hockey star Luke Adam and soccer phenom Laura Breen were named Sport Newfoundland and Labrador's senior male and female athletes of the year for 2009 during a gala Stars and Legends celebration Saturday night at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland in St. John's.

In addition to the top athletes (junior and senior), coach and executive, and best team, five new inductees were added to the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Hall of Fame.
