CeeBees and Caribous set to square off in Game 3 of Herder Final

The Conception Bay North CeeBee Stars and Clarenville Caribous have just left the ice following a warm up skate prior to Game 3 of the Telegram Herder Memorial Trophy Championship Series at Mile One Centre in St. John's.

The squads split the opening two games of the series last weekend at the new Clarenville Events Centre. The 'Bous opened with a 4-2 win Saturday with the CeeBees following up with a 4-1 win in Game 2 on Sunday afternoon.

Prior to tonight's contest, Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador will present its annual provincial senior hockey awards for regular season competition. They include:

The Evening Telegram Trophy - presented to team with best winning average

The S.E. Tuma Memorial Award - presented to leading point scorer

The Goaltenders Award - presented to goalie with the best goals against average

The Albert "PeeWee" Crane Memorial Trophy - presented to rookie of the year

The Howie Clouter Memorial Trophy - presented to most gentlemanly and sportsmanlike player

The T.S. (Gus) Soper Memorial Award - presented to the senior hockey MVP
